Global Fintech giants are looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join their amazing Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well versed team with a wealth of experience within DevOps.


You will be joining their growing engineering organisation developing a wide range of market-leading InsurTech solutions at an exciting time as they evolve their portfolio from desktop/on-premise towards cloud/SaaS. As a DevOps Engineer, you will work together with product teams and deliver highly scalable infrastructure and pipelines. This is a critical and varied role, using a wide range of technologies, combining strategic work with short-term tactical fixes and improvements. 


For this opportunity we are looking for someone with strong Azure skills including strong skills within Terraform and Networking. Someone that has come from a .Net environment scores extra points!


We’re seeking an Engineer that is able to demonstrate skills/knowledge such as;

  • Experience administering CI systems, creating build configurations and pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps (VSTS/TFS), TeamCity, NuGet, MSBuild

  • Experience administering version control systems such as Git (Azure DevOps) or SVN

  • Familiarity with Microsoft .NET development environment, Visual Studio

  • Strong scripting skills (PowerShell)

  • Experience of cloud technologies (primarily Azure), in areas such as networking, storage, integration, compute and analytics

  • Experience of Windows & Linux containers and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Autonomy, attention to detail, commitment to high-quality, ability to learn quickly and to innovate

  • Strong problem-solving skills, including providing simple solutions to complex situations

  • Strong team player with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively


The successful candidate will earn up to £85,000 and in addition there are exceptional benefits which come as part of the overall package including: 10% bonus, great pension, medical cover, strong nature of upskilling and numerous soft leisurely benefits. The team works on a hybrid basis, with 2 days a week on-site in their Surrey office.
