Mid-Level Java (Full Stack) Developer

We’re looking for a Mid-Level Full Stack Software Engineer to join a well known sports software business. This is an awesome opportunity to take your engineering skills to the next level by working on various software products using a full stack of technology across both front-end and backend engineering.

The successful Mid-Level Full Stack Software Engineer will have commercially worked for at least 18 months coding Java with either (or both!) React or Angular on the UI.

This position is going to work on a Hybrid format where two days per week are spent working in the Company’s Bedford Office whilst the remaining time is work from your home location. The Company will pay a starting basic salary up to £50,000 and the remuneration package will include various benefits including Company Pension Scheme and Private Health Care.

We’re looking for Mid-Level Full Stack Software Engineers that can demonstrate the following skills and experience;

• Front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 and third-party libraries such as React Js and Angular
• Confident Server-side programming in Java
• Experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions with an understanding of mobile first and responsive design
• Familiarity with DBMS technology, including SQLServer, Oracle, MongoDB and MySQL and caching mechanisms such as Redis
• Develop APIs and RESTful services
• Experience working with Apache servers with a background in Linux
• Experience of Unit, Integration and E2E Testing
