Front End Developer - Vue & TypeScript

Front End Developers with strong Vue & TypeScript skills are wanted by an established FinTech software company, who are undertaking a large digital transformation into AI and Chat GPT.

You’ll join a small, newly formed development team where you can influence technical decisions and help shape how software is built and maintained. Frontend development is the main focus, with opportunities to contribute across the full stack in an AI-enabled environment.

I have worked alongside this company for the past eight years and they're great, they have created a team of people who are passionate about code quality and best practices. Allowing their people the time and freedom to implement best practices (Playwright / Selenium). They have a culture of learning and have an unwritten rule that if you find a course, certification, meet-up, book etc.. that will make you a better, they will always find funding for that.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain web applications using Vue 3 and TypeScript.
• Integrate frontend solutions with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Develop backend components using Node.js and .NET where needed.
• Create responsive, accessible and intuitive user interfaces.
• Write automated unit, component, integration and end-to-end tests.

Technical Overview:

• Experience developing modern web applications, with a frontend focus.
• Strong Vue 3 and TypeScript skills, including component development and state management.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with Node.js.
• A good understanding of UX, accessibility and responsive design.
• Ideally, some exposure of working within or with C# and .NET.

The successful Front End Developer will earn up to £60,000 and in addition there are exceptional benefits which come as part of the overall package including: generous Bonus, 10% Pension contribution, training fund, health insurance, weekly team lunches, travel loans and numerous soft leisurely benefits.

The team tends to come together 2 days a week for some collaboration, in their Central London offices.
