One of the largest privately owned media and broadcasting companies in Europe, is looking for GCP Cloud Engineers who will have the chance to have their work used by millions of people everyday.

You’ll be joining a well known brand, company and a successful team. But most importantly, you will be working very closely with a hugely talented team which we’ve had the pleasure of building over the past 24 months. The team work to a hybrid model and come together on-site 1 day a week, in their modern London office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable cloud solutions.
• Implement best practices for security, monitoring, logging, and automation to ensure the reliability and integrity of our cloud environment.
• Optimise resource utilisation and costs through effective cloud resource management and cost optimization strategies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in cloud technology, and evaluate and recommend new tools and services to enhance our cloud infrastructure.

Technical Overview:

• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• In-depth knowledge of GCP services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and IAM.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and cloud security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

This GCP Cloud Engineer opportunity will pay an annual salary up to £80,000, a 15% Annual Bonus, 10% Company Pension, Private Health and Dental Care and lots more!.
