London based Global News Media organisation is looking for a number of Senior Java Developers that have extensive Full Stack coding experience working with Java and React.Js This well known Media Corp has customers across various countries and the successful Software Developers will be able to make a significant contribution to software applications that are used by millions globally! The new Senior Java Developers will be responsible for software design, development and testing of new microservice applications using container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. You’ll be expected to pair-program on a regular basis and mentor less experienced developers in best software engineering practices. In addition, you’ll also maintain and contribute to software delivery principles and guidelines based on industry best-practice. These Software Developer roles will pay a starting salary up to £80,000, with an annual bonus scheme, Company Pension and 30 Days Annual Leave with the ability to buy and sell more! We’re seeking Senior Java Developers that have the following technology experience; Extensive system development knowledge with Java (various versions up to and including 23). In-depth experience of working with REST APIs and NoSQL Databases. Applied knowledge of Agile methodologies and software engineering concepts e.g. XP, Scrum, Pair Programming, TDD, BDD. Experience with configuration and build tools such as Jenkins, Gradle, Maven etc Experience of design patterns and SOLID principles well as best test practices (Unit Testing etc). The Company operates a hybrid working environment where two days per week they work from their London Office. With that, we are looking for Software Developers that can commute twice weekly to London.
